Working with Composers

CANZ is very pleased to announce the release of our new Fees Calculator as well as our new reference document – Working with Composers.

These new tools are the result of several years of consultation with our members, Toi Te Arapūorou SOUNZ, and Creative New Zealand as well as many of Aotearoa’s major presenting organisations: The Association of Professional Orchestras Aotearoa (APOA), Chamber Music New Zealand, and Choirs Aotearoa New Zealand.

2025 Composer Workshop Registrations

We are delighted to announce the call for participants for the 44th CANZ Composers Workshop, taking place in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland from 2–5 September 2025. Registrations open Sunday 27 April at 7pm and close Monday 12 May at 11.59pm, or earlier if places fill.
