ISCM 2024 WNMD Faroe Islands Highlights
Fergus Fry reflects on highlights of the 2024 World New Music Days festival in the Faroe Islands. Join CANZ to enjoy the full Canzonetta!
CANZ members Jesse Austin-Stewart and Fergus Fry have been representing New Zealand at the ISCM's 2024 World New Music Days in the Faroe Islands. Jesse's installation "Music for Playstation" was selected as part of this year's festival, as was fellow CANZ member Victoria Kelly's "Lyre" for violin, cello, and piano.
Fergus represented the NZ Section at the ISCM'S General Assembly, which concluded late June and featured several important and interesting discussions on thestate of contemporary music.
