International Competition for Young Composers (Beijing)
Composes born after 1990, prizes €3,000-€10,000.
Chamber music 5-12 instruments
The International Competition for Young Composers is jointly initiated and organized by the Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM), Universal Edition Vienna (UE), and the mdw - University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. The Competition is to be held every two years, alternately for chamber music and orchestral music composition.
The first Competition will be held for chamber music composition in 2025. There are no nationality restrictions for contestants, who must be born in 1990 or later.

We now welcome submissions of scores or work proposals for the Conference concert. CANZ members are invited to submit an existing work or a new 'microscore' for consideration for the Conference concert.
