2024 CANZ Composers Workshop
In 2024, the CANZ Composer Workshop will convene in Te Whanganui a Tara, Wellington. CANZ is excited to announce that all ensembles will be performed by the players of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra!
In 2024, as part of our 50th Anniversary, CANZ is delighted to hold a very special workshop in partnership with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra.
The workshop will take place in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington from 4-8 September 2024.
Applications to have your pieces workshopped are now closed however, watch this space for details on concerts and other public events associated with the workshop!

2025 Composer Workshop Registrations
We are delighted to announce the call for participants for the 44th CANZ Composers Workshop, taking place in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland from 2–5 September 2025. Registrations open Sunday 27 April at 7pm and close Monday 12 May at 11.59pm, or earlier if places fill.
